He has 20 years of professional experience as an academic, researcher, trainer, coach and consultant. He taught as an academic at a number of Universities in Bangladesh, India and Canada. He taught as a sessional instructor at MacEwan University, Coordinator of CDI College. Canada. In Bangladesh he taught at International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, BRAC University, Northern University, People's University and Victoria University. In India he worked with IMI Delhi, and CUSAT, Kerala. He worked as a consultant in the Ministry of Commerce, Bangladesh Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industries, International Labor Organization, European Commission, Royal Netherlands Embassy, UNFPA and many other corporate organizations. In Canada, he worked for the provincial government as an analyst. He is a certified trauma informed coach. He is founder of Prerona Television Canada. He is a social entrepreneur. He founded CSR Bangladesh in 2008 and Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility Canada in 2015. He founded Canadian Museum of Bengali Civilization. He is a Rotarian and Chair of Youth Committee for 2023-24. He is a member of Edmonton Chamber of Commerce. He has run his incorporated business named “EMM Consultants” since 2013.
