Professional Bio:
I am a collaborative, change management oriented instructional designer who delivers the best possible learning experiences to diverse populations in a range of settings. My curiosity about people and discovering effective teaching-learning methods has led me around the world to a wonderful breadth of experiences in the field. From teaching reading, writing, and language to directing a multi-million-dollar college prep grant for at-risk students in California, I have always leveraged technology alongside storytelling to author learning experiences. Metaphor is the vehicle through which I learn and help others learn as well. Studying the intersections of learning and technology while earning my doctorate from the school of Education and Information Studies at UCLA, I was inspired to launch my own instructional design company, Technology Education to Advance Learning (TEAL) which led me to my business consulting career with CGI.
