Karl Johnson has over 20 years’ experience developing and executing enterprise-wide strategies for operating model design, organizational design, process design, workforce planning, and change management programs which strengthen strategic capabilities that drive performance improvement. Most recently, he has held VP and Director roles leading Centers of Excellence responsible for global transformation and change within Mars, Cargill, and Syngenta. He and his groups' successes include: • Strategic advisor to CIO as led digital transformation to stand up a new centralized data function including operating model, organizational design, process design, and data management governance model to enable enterprise-wide data based decision-making. • Trusted advisor to CFO as led finance transformation through a 3-year roadmap transitioning from 100s of disparate ERP instances into a managed global portfolio of ERP transformation efforts leading towards enterprise-wide adoption of SAP. • Redesigned commercial excellence operating model and led change management across marketing, sales, and customer service to establish new franchise model for retail stores tied to one of Mars' $1B brand. • Managed M&A integration for 6 acquisitions of $10M-$50M founder-led organizations with a focus on retaining strong entrepreneurial leadership teams and key talent.
