Professional Bio:
Avil (pronounced "UH-vil") Jackson is the Founder of LuminaNorth Group, a leadership and organizational change advisory practice. Avil brings nearly thirty years of organizational leadership experience across the nonprofit, workforce development, and mission-driven sectors. Current areas of focus include workforce development program design, frontline and case manager training, post-placement cohort programming, and board development for nonprofit organizations — including onboarding, role clarity, and governance training. Her proprietary framework, the Mise en Place Leadership Method™, is grounded in a decade of professional fine dining experience — including the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills — and operationalized through three sequential pillars: Assess Your Kitchen. Prep Your Station. Execute Service. The method integrates Prosci/ADKAR, Gallup CliftonStrengths, and Agile principles. It is method-driven work, not generic consulting. She holds a BFA from Brandeis University, an AAS in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America, and is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach®. She is currently open to organizational partnerships, advisory engagements, training and facilitation contracts, and government procurement opportunities. Based in Omaha. Available nationally.
